TENNIS ADULTS CLINIC

This clinic will focus on the physical, technical, tactical, and mental pillars of the game in groups, helping participants learn new skills and make progress. The clinic will run according to the participants’ ability levels (advanced, intermediate, or recreational) in 90-minute session blocks.

8:30-10:00 AM, MONDAY To FRIDAY EVERY WEEK

PLAYER TO COACH RATIO: MAXIMUM 16 PLAYERS TO 4 COACHES

LEVELS OF PLAY

ADULTS CLINIC RECREATIONAL LEVEL
  • Players compete in singles and doubles games.
  • Understand some game plans and court positioning.
  • Understand some game plans and court positioning.
  • Can hit rallies with partners, with a consistency of 30% or above.
  • Must have good physical fitness, including strength, balance, reaction, and cardio.
  • Able to accept overall training and handle ball speed.
  • Learn the rules, keep score, and improve positioning, timing, and tactical skills through drills and competitive fun games.
  • Lessons will focus on doubles tactical agame positioning, rally control, and building points and strategies, including live game situation drills.
ADULTS INTERMEDIATE LEVEL

The lessons will cover doubles game situations, tactical and mental aspects, and competitive fun games.
Participants will learn new skills, strategies, and progressions in intermediate coaching programs.

INTERMEDIATE 1:  Fairly consistent when hitting moderately paced shots but not comfortable playing all strokes, including lobs, passing shots, and overheads.
INTERMEDIATE 2: Consistent when rallying but struggles to change spin based on tactical needs.
INTERMEDIATE 3: Beginning to develop a range of different serves and can use a variety of tactical intentions based on the shot presented by the coach. 

ADULTS CLINIC ADVANCED LEVEL

The lessons will focus on doubles game situations, tactical and mental aspects, and competitive fun games.
Participants will learn new skills, strategies, and progressions in advanced coaching programs.

ADVANCE 1: Plays many matches and has a very high level of tennis, struggling only against professional players.
Solid both technically and tactically.

ADVANCE 2: consistently hits winners off short balls, returns weak serves, and hits aces.

ADVANCE 3: Has good tactical awareness and can self-correct most errors. Can hit a range of serves with good consistency and deal with all incoming shots effectively.  

SESSION STRUCTURE (90 MINUTES FOR ADULTS CLINIC)
  • Partner Rally Warm-Up (15 min)
  • Technical teaching on specific shots and tactical teaching on constructing points and strategy, including live drills (45 min)
  • Games Match Play fucusing on physical and mental aspects in real-game situations (30 min)
