We went to Thanyapura for a tennis holiday. Tennis head coach Mike pushed us and helped us improve our skills. We had a massage at the spa and Fah was awesome! She was very accommodating and nice. We finished with a relaxed body and mind. The restaurants and food was good. They offer local Thai, Asian, and international cuisines. I’d recommend going to Thanyapura Phuket for a health and sports holiday!

I seldom write reviews. I am a competitive senior tennis player . I have trained at Thanyapura over the years since 2011. I have participated in Tennis classes and clinics there at time regularly and have experienced the different chapters of the Thanyapura tennis story. The current tennis program is under the excellent hands of director Mike Zwaan. Under Mike the quality of the training and the energy on court has improved significantly. Coach Mike’s positivity and love for the sport shines through everyone of his very capable staff. He has truly helped my play to improve as well as my attitude on court. I recommend you give it a go. Plus all of the other facilities are fantastic for off court training.

We went to Thanyapura for the first time in August and had a great trip! We were looking to find a resort or tennis camp where we can play tennis. Thanyapura did not disappoint! It was hot and humid, but the covered courts made all the difference as we got to still play when it was raining. We enjoyed the daily tennis clinics or match play days, which were super fun, and we met a mix of travelers like us and locals. The coaching staff were excellent, and we also did a few private lessons. We enjoyed many of the other group fitness classes like HITT and yoga and of course, the swimming pools. There is also a fantastic jogging track. The food was delicious with a good mix of healthy to the not-so-healthy (to treat ourselves from all the hard exercise!). The spa was also a nice treat too with massages and facials. We went to the beach a couple times and managed to get around using Grab. Overall, a great tennis trip and we will definitely come back! Few points to note - there is a coin laundry/dryer, and the front desk can make change for you from Bhat notes. The hotel only offers shower gel and shampoo, so bring your own conditioner if you need it. You can also for a drying rack, which we put outside our room to dry off our sweaty clothes. There are water filling and ice stations near the hotel rooms.
